I checked and it could be upgraded with newer firmware via the serial PC port to allow the series recording but there are reports that the firmware is quite unstable so will give it a miss. I presume the same firmware is available for the 160Gb model so just wanted to say that Aria have never let me down and use them all the time for PC parts. So far I can only recommend this unit. What software versions does it have? If it is 3.7 then it will be the T816 hardware and have Accurate Recording but not Series Link. Yes its the 3.7 version. I don't really want to upgrade that to the latest which I've seen on various sites because of stability reports - but I just noticed on the DGT site that there will be a firmware update next week for the T816 (DTR80), T815 so I think it may well upgrade so we'll see what version it changes to.
