SAGE CONVERTER - Groove Control® Library Conversion IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to changes in Mac OS-X, Groove Control Library conversion does not work in 10.7 Lion (or later.) These two sample libraries are much larger than the small Groove Control sections, and contain many other one-shot samples, phrases and playable multisamples, but you must use a sampler to play the rest of those libraries. Only this small Groove Control part of these two libraries is compatible with the SAGE Converter and Stylus RMX. Vocal Planet will only convert the GC data on the CD-ROM disc that contains that section, so you will notice the conversion going very fast!

The SAGE Xpander versions of the CD-ROM titles are essentially the same as a converted CD-ROM title, but the Xpanders also include special Multis for each title and a Bonus Spectrasonics.db or Bonus ILIO.db library. The special multis are available to Groove Control CD-ROM library owners for downloading in the. The Conversion Process If you are converting an Akai Groove Control CD-ROM library, choose a library from the drop-down menu under the Akai heading. If you are converting a Roland Groove Control CD-ROM library, choose a library from the drop-down menu under the Roland heading. Once you have chosen a format and library to convert, a dialog box appears asking you to insert the appropriate disc.
Once you insert the CD-ROM disc, click the OK button and the Converter will begin the conversion process. (Mac OS X will display a warning screen saying that it cannot read the CD-ROM and offers to either Eject or Ignore the disc. Choose “Ignore”.) The red Progress Bar indicates the Converter's degree of completion. In the case of a multi-disc library like Ethno Techno, the Converter will ask for the necessary disc at the appropriate time.
